The Opportunity
Submissions are open to independent artists, songwriters, and producers to feature on the official companion soundtrack for Operation: Hathor, an animated superhero feature releasing December 4.
Selected tracks release worldwide on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack across all major platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more). Select tracks are also chosen for placements within the film, trailers, social campaigns, and promotional pushes funded by the production.
A Deal Built for Artists
Our goal is to put our film's marketing budget behind independent talent — and share the upside generously.
- 80% of net proceeds go to the artists, split among participating artists by track count on the soundtrack.
- 20% returns to the film to help recover production and album costs.
- Zero cost to you. The production covers 100% of album artwork, metadata, distribution setup, marketing, and sales administration.
- You keep everything. 100% ownership of your master recording and publishing. Album inclusion is a non-exclusive license — not a sale.
"Net proceeds" and exact terms are set out in the artist agreement signed by selected artists.

Creative Brief & Sound Standard
We're looking for modern, radio-friendly, broadcast-ready music across all genres — Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Funk, Alternative, Electronic/Dance, Synthwave, Rock, Indie, and beyond.
- Energy & Vibe: cinematic, driving, heroic, triumphant, different emotions & moods, any tempo, bold, or emotionally resonant.
- Production Quality: fully mixed, mastered, and commercial-ready.
- Format: instrumental cuts and clean stems available on request.
Songs do not need to mention superheroes, comics, or the plot. Great modern radio songs that fit the family-friendly framework are strongly encouraged.

This is a family-friendly animated film. All lyric content must meet strict PG standards.

- Profanity or explicit language (censored/bleeped versions not accepted)
- Violence, weapons, or physical harm
- Drug, alcohol, or substance references
- Suggestive, explicit, or adult themes
Two Lanes: Album vs. Film
These are separate — selection for one does not mean selection for the other.
Tracks on the companion soundtrack (OMPS) are licensed non-exclusively for album distribution and promo. You keep 100% ownership. The 80/20 split applies.
Tracks placed inside the film (or trailers/campaigns) are handled under a separate sync license agreement, negotiated individually. Album inclusion does not guarantee film placement.

Submit Your Music
Submitting does not guarantee selection. The production reviews all entries and reserves the right to decline any submission. You'll be notified of the outcome by email.
If You're Selected, Here's What You'll Sign
No signatures are required to submit. If your track is chosen, we'll walk you through and sign the relevant agreement(s) together:
- Album License Agreement — a non-exclusive license letting us include your track on the soundtrack and promote it. You keep 100% ownership; it sets out the 80/20 net split.
- Sync License Agreement (only if selected for the film) — a separate agreement covering use of your track inside the film, trailer, or campaign, negotiated individually.
- Rights & Indemnity Confirmation — your written confirmation that you own or control the track and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, protecting both sides.
You'll have the chance to review every agreement — and run it past your own representation or attorney — before signing anything.
